CLGFS is holding open practice evaluations for our upcoming 2024 Comets season.

This program is designed to showcase your developing players talent and give them a taste of tournament play. The teams will practice on Sundays at the beginning of spring season. They will play in four tournaments with some potential scrimmages against similar programs in our area along the way. Players are expected to attend all tournaments through July and will likely include Memorial Day weekend and the 4th of July holiday.

We are looking for 12 players for each age group, which will be based on scoring during the tryouts.

Tryouts will be held at Indian Prairie, Sunday September 24th & Wednesday September 27th

Sunday- September 24th.

8U & 10U - 1PM-2PM   

12U & 14U - 11:00 - 12

Wednesday- September 27th.

8U & 10U 5:15-6:15 PM

12U & 14U 6:15-7:15 PM

The cost for the program will range from $650.00-$800.00. This will include a Comets uniform with Socks, pants, belt and jersey/practice jersey. This also includes the fee for Spring Rec Ball.

Pricing is not finalized and may vary depending on tournament costs.

There is no fee for attending evaluations.

Players do not need to be registered for the Fall 2023 season to participate in Comets open practice evaluation.

Team finalization may be held off until spring 2024 depending on turnout.

When arriving at evaluations please arrive 15 min early ready to go. Softball pants, cleats, glove, face mask, bat, helmet and water bottle.
