Thanks to your continued support we are able to provide many positive experiences to girls in Crystal Lake and surrounding communities. The CLGFS families, the coaches, and the Board of Directors all share in the belief that the CLGFS experience is very important for our young ladies. Too often, the ability to participate in team athletics is limited for girls when compared to the many offerings for boys. The dynamics and lessons learned from team athletics are equally important to our young ladies and need to be supported.
The philosophy of the league is simple; Softball is a tool used to teach our young ladies both skills related to the sport, but also important traits that will help them beyond the sport itself. Our league prides itself in being a “no-cut” recreational league, ensuring all girls, regardless of skill, age or potential disabilities, have a place to make new friends, develop physical and mental growth, determination, learn important life skills such as athleticism, teamwork and most importantly, have fun.
Our league depends on financial support beyond the “Registration Fees'' to be able to provide this experience to as many girls as possible. These fees have been kept artificially low, only because of the extra support from CLGFS Supporters as yourself. As a reminder, the league is a Not-For-Profit organization (copies of our 501-C3 available upon request) and is NOT financially supported by the City of Crystal Lake or by the Crystal Lake Park District. All Board members and coaches are unpaid volunteers. As an official Park District affiliate, our league is 100% responsible for all costs and work associated with the teams and the maintenance or upgrades of the home fields at Indian Prairie Park.

A permanent facility for Concessions, Restrooms, and Storage, Complete rebuilding of the 10U and 12U fields, regrading the 6U, 8U and 10U fields and new practice equipment for all teams. Necessary field and facility maintenance
Future goals with your support are:
Updated equipment for all the girls., Foul line netting to protect spectators and vehicles, dug outs, batting cages, off season clinics, upgrading the fields upgrading other fields, expansion of off season clinics, mentoring older girls as umpires

Silver: honorary naming rights to a field for 1 spring or fall season
Gold: same as silver but for 2 seasons (1 full year)
Platinum: same as gold but for 4 full seasons (2years)
Field naming will be prioritized Platinum first, then Gold, then Silver
Any significant contributions for major expenses such as dug outs, will also have a plaque dedicated to that sponsor affixed to the dugout
